After the sad passing away of Pink Floyd's keyboard player Rick Wright, Brendan Perkins thought it would be a fitting tribute to record a cover of one of his favourite 'Floyd songs "Summer '68". It also seemed a very good idea to release it as a charity song in aid of Cancer Research.
After receiving lots of help and encouragement, the single is now available on iTunes. The charity song is officially registered with Cancer Research UK, and all profits made by Brendan will be verified and sent to the charity.
Many thanks to Pink Floyd Music Publishers who have given very kind permission for the use and release of this version of the song.
Please just pay 79pence for a download from iTunes, enjoy the song, and remember that your money is going towards a great and worthwhile cause.
