I did not try to get a touring band because it is kind of difficult to give a touring band gas money when you're raising money to help keep a friend in this country. I also think it's important to have all local shows to build more of a sense of community and bring OUR SCENE together for reasons other than just to see touring bands (which is also fucking awesome, regardless).
Please come out and show support. Party hard, but please donate before you spend all your money on beer. There may or may not be delicious food for sale.
