InfluencesSummer evenings * simplicity * The Mr. Men * warmth * longing * sunset/sunrise * strong colours * honesty * everything by Auburn Lull but especially the songs ' between trains' and ' shallow in youth' * 'resolution' by Windy and Carl * 'rest for the weary' by Transient waves * summer nights/summer mornings * Sarah records * manual * 'happy' by Sugar plant * 'I love you always forever' by Donna Lewis * lakes/countryside * 'Discreet music' by Brian Eno and Darla records!**
Sounds LikeHonest answer: C,F,A,C,G played on synthetic keyboard strings (with a little bit of guitar) through silly amounts of delay and reverb.

'Better souding slightly pretentious answer': Music for when long warm summer evenings turn to still summer nights, followed by peaceful summer mornings.

   About Summer night air
Summer night air started in summer 2003. I seek to make music which is simple, warm and friendly! I am not interested in the clinical, precious, precise, cold and 'oh so serious' nature of some ambient music.

If you think reviews matter here are some:

"worth tracking down if your taste leans towards the expansive, the minimally melodic and the distinctly dewy-eyed...artless but never quite gauche, 3 is a gentle but genuine pleasure." THE WIRE FEB 2006

"gorgeously woozy, constructed around lonely pulses of delight; its warm drone bathes you in a honeyed glow and it's minimal aesthetic is deceptively simple. In short a glorious release." Album of the month. THE CRACK DEC 2005

"It's very nice" My mam, 10 minutes ago

"like spritualized at their most ambient or eno at the airport" NARC TOP 20 BANDS IN THE NORTH EAST ARTICLE APRIL 2006

"Minimal drones with a sense of naivety and innocence that's so beautiful it could ooze out of your hi-fi speakers and drip onto your carpet" DISTRACTION RECORDS

Thanks to Steven and Darren at Distraction records for probably being more passionate about my music than me!!

Instantly likable simple pop played with passion and integrity. Happy music.
(Rating: 5/5)

Babysue

My first encounter with Moira Stewart, for their debut album, is a straight shot of joy. This has put one big smile on my face.

Vital Weekly

.

Incurably cute and frisky, once the lids lifted off 'Sweetness, Yes!' its like a summer holiday schools out parade. Bonkers but superb with it.

Losing Today

Here’s an album to put a smile on your face. Sweetness, Yes! is a joyful mix of 80’s synths, indie guitars and quirky sampling.

Album of the week (13th March 2008)
Huw Stephens Radio 1

A joyous carousel of fun and glad tidings.
Skipping around the electro/pop minefield with giddy abandon

The Crack

This hugely impressive debut could teach Hot Chip a lesson in the art of concise, punchy songwriting .

Narc Magazine

we got a crap review from teletext as well.
