Who Would I Like To Meet?
"Mozart, Mendelssohn, Lennon, Hedges, Nillson, Hendrix, and a bunch of other musicians alive and dead. Actors like Mel Gibson, Harrison Ford, Melora Walters, and Marisa Tomei because they all seem they'd be fun to party with and maybe Harrison would even take me up in his biplane. And I think it would really rock to meet Jesus, Gung Fu Tse, Hamarrabi and Buddha and DaVinci and certainly a BUNCH more!"

OK. This is the bio section and I have FINALLY gotten around to putting together a "bio" for it:
I am the firstborn of five Air Force brats. Dad was a career NCO and retired around 1975. I have a brother and three sisters and we did a fair bit of travel because of the Air Force. I had lived in five different states and Nova Scotia by the time I was 6 years old and due to this have always had a bit of the "wanderlust" in me. I've held down a variety of "day jobs", including Station Attendant for a County Engineer's office, Chenoceta Mt. Fire Tower OPS for the Georgia Forestry Commission, and Quality Analyst of proprietary software for a credit reporting and consumer information database and applications company. I've also done a fair share of dishwashing, salad/grill prep, and table bussing, as well as arcade management, resort condo time-share sales, music store management, and one year even sub-contracted to the US Forest Service to plant 80 acres of loblolly pine trees! I started messing arouond with computers in the late 70's/early 80's, Apple II, IIe, Commodore 64 and 128, Amstrad PC (IBM clone) and have custom built systems for clients, as well as troubleshooting, service, repair, upgrades, network setups, etc. I owned my own music store in the early 80's and sold it in the early 90's when I moved from NE Ohio to NE Georgia.
I've been playing music since about the third grade, starting with the "Tonette/Flute-a-Phone" (anyone remember that?!) and picked up the cornet/trumpet in seventh grade and carried on with it through college even until now when I occasionally feel it will work in one of my songs. Also started on harmonica around the ninth grade. I started learning the guitar as an "old man" of 25. I began seriously composing in the mid-eighties and recorded a fair number of originals around that time. I released an 'original, "traditional" Christmas song' titled "'S Christmas", as well as a 'flip-side of Christmas' song titled "Greenbacks", in 1988 and re-released both of these as bonus tracks on my first CD album titled "Out of Chaos...the Sublime..." in 2003. I have since then produced three more CD's, "Etherial Dissonance" in 2004, "Elemental Asylum" in 2007, and in 2008 a CD of 98 ringtones titled "Ring Tone Nation", which was produced as a dual-format CD and includes a few videos and an mp3 folder of all 98 ringtones to facilitate the download process to a user's cell phone. I have always been passionate about music and always will be. I think it is one of the highest forms of creativity and expression that humanity can achieve, right up there with figure skating, gymnastics, and Science with a capital 'S'. I recently resigned from my "day-job" in financial IT to once again pursue music full-time and am now performing, recording and teaching virtually "eight days a week"!
Peace and Music!
