Okay, well for starters.. Thank you so much to everybody who showed up this year and in the past.. The little boy that was hurt in the river at the redneck games is in stable condition at The Children's Hospital in Macon. He lost his arm yesterday at around 4 pm.. But THANK GOD not his life.. Now, as for all those who have an opinion of how outta hand the games were this year.. This was the biggest crowd I have ever seen at the games.. It was extra large compared to years past when you had a front row to all the excitement.. Sorry you had to share a space that was never ever reserved for you.. If I am not mistaken, the comment below comes from the same guy who complained the whole day at the games.. Maybe I'm mistaken, but weren't you upset that you would possibly miss the mudpit?? And didn't you go in?? Weren't you in another game too?? Am I crazy?? Cause you got picked out of a very large crowd because of your complaints to begin with.. Over 10,000 people and three complaints... UMMMM... I personally did all I could to accomodate every one complaint we had.. But now, picking on us.. Come on.. Every year there is someone poking fun at the redneck.. If you have truly been there then you have seen that.. Ain't it great to be a redneck.. We are the few and the proud.. But redneck does not stand for only a hand full of people and one person cannot decide who is or who isn't.. I see you are very proud of you're heritage and you have every right to be.. I happen to be very proud of how the games turned out considering I worked my tail off to make it happen.. Thank you for you're opinion and if we don't see you again, enjoy life...
I KNOW THIS WILL GET DELETED CAUSE THE LAST ONE DID IVE BEEN GOING TO THE GAMES FOR MANY YEARS AND IT SEEMES LIKE EVERY YEAR IT GETS WORSE BETWEEN THE PARENTS NOT WATCHING THEIR KIDS TO ALL THOSE NOT FROM HERE SHOWING UP AND MAKING US TRUE REDNECKS LOOK LIKE A BUNCH OF DUMB A---- THEY SHOW UP AND JUST GET SO DRUNK THEY CANT HANDLE THEMSELVES THERE FOR THE REST OF US HAVE TO SUFFER FOR THEIR STUPIDITY. AS I SAID IVE BEEN COMING FOR YEARS AND HAVE HAD A LOT OF FUN IN THE PAST BUT FAR AS IT IS NOW I WONT BE BACK NEXT YEAR CAUSE TO ME WERE JUST BEING MADE FUN OF NOW
this redneck games was great i was the one playin on the slip and slide and playin around but it was the best time i have ever had and all my friends said it was awsome....illl be there next year for sure...
THIS YEAR WAS MY 6TH YEAR GOING TO THE REDNECK GAMES! I HAD ALOT OF FUN!! EVERYTHING WAS AWESOME, THE BANDS, VENDERS, AND MOST OF ALL THE GEORGIA ARMY NATIONAL GUARD! RAWNI AND ROB WEDDING WAS DOWN RIGHT AWESOME! ONCE AGAIN THIS YEAR WAS A BLAST EVEN THOUGH, MAC DAVIS AND JEFF KIDD WASN'T THERE! BUT NEVERTHELESS I WILL REMEMBER THE 2001 AND 2008 GAMES, FOR I WAS CROWN CHAMPION BOTH YEARS!
Great time's indeed this year minus the few incidents. But all in all a good ol time as always. If anyone has pictures they wanna send, please feel free to contact me..... Can't wait till next year.....
