Summer's Dying was established in 2001. The first Line Up was Robert (git.), Kai "Tele" (b.), Dirk (dr.) and Lars (voc.). The first songs were written and a demo-tape with five tracks was recorded. In the end of 2002 Christo joined the band as second guitar-player. Right before our first concert at the "Blütennoise Festival 2003" Kai (b.) left the band because of personal reasons. He was replaced by Kurt. In the beginning he was a session member to help us out, but later he became a fulltime member of Summer's Dying.
Early 2004 we released our Live-CD "Live Metal". It was a live-recording from our gig at the "Fucking Christmas Festival 2003" in Haufeld. The CD was limited to 300 pieces. In June 2004 the ways of Robert (git.) and Summer's Dying parted. He left because he changed his place of work and couldn't combine work and band anymore. In September 2004 the demo-tape "Until Silence remains" was recorded and after that André joined us as new guitar-player. "Until Silence remains" represented a big turn and a change of direction for us. We quit with our rock and heavy sounds and began to created our style of Death Metal.
After numerous gigs during the years 2004 and 2005 our bass-player Kurt was forced to leave us because of his new job. We found substitute in Sebastian, who is a fulltime member since then.
In December 2005 we started with the recordings for our Ep "Into cold Beds of Soil". We had to fight with some recording-problems, so we worked on it until late 2006. On March 1st 2007 we finally released our self-produced EP "Into cold Beds of Soil". It brought us a lot of positive resonances since that day.
Since this release we worked on new material and played as much gigs as it was possible for us in this totally overfilled Death Metal scene.
In 2009 we were the opening act on the Party San Open Air. After that the interests of some bandmembers changed, Christo left us and the remaining members did not want to play these songs anymore! R.I.P. SUMMER'S DYING!!

October 29th, 2007, COVAN, vocalist of DECAPITATED,
was seriously injured in an accident while on tour in Russia.
Sadly this accident claimed the life of Witold “VITEK” Kieltyka (R.I.P.),their drummer.
It's been over 2 years since the accident and COVAN is still going through a long and difficult recovery and needs our help. Due to medical negligence after surgery he went into cardiac arrest, which resulted in limited oxygen to his brain. His recovery has been greatly slowed because of this mistake. The expensive cost of his rehabilitation rest solely on his family and THEY NEED OUR HELP!!!
