About summer winds festival 2008

Summer winds was a diy festival which took place at sydney park, st.peters, sydney, australia on january the 14th 2006, a cd-r comp was realised and 10 bands from sydney, brisbane, melbourne played that day. It was a such an amazing day that next summer the festival expanded to spread over 2 cities melbourne and sydney. The Melbourne leg of the festival happened on the 2nd of december 2006, 13 bands from adalaide and melb played and with the expection of some annoying film students and the threat of rain the day was totally rad. The sydney leg happened on the 13th jan 2007 staring 13 bands from brisbane and sydney. Both legs of the festivel had big turn out and cd`r comps were realised for both dates with 25 bands on in totall. Summer winds put on a festival in the fall called suburban revoultion which was ment to be a new seasonal leg of the festival but unfortunatly the venue didn`t work out and we will no longer be putting events on there. Summer winds is now expanding into a monthly night to be held at forpaw art gallery 175 high st northcotte. SUMMER WINDS MELBOURNE FINAL LINE UP
