My wife and I moved to Sumpter from San Diego, California. I grew up in these mountains, graduated Baker High School in 1978. I am a disabled Veteran as a result of serving as a U.S. Marine. We are devote christians and are active in our local church. I have one daughter from a previous marriage and she will be 21 in January. My websites are: www.sumpter.org and I play chess at: www.chessworld.com as kingspawn43
Who I'd like to meet:
Would like to meet anyone who enjoys playing online chess. I enjoy meeting people who enjoy the great outdoors, history, snowhshoeing, writing, special olympics, bowling and gold mining. I would like to meet anyone who might also suffer epilepsy like myself and who might need support and advice. I also enjoy meeting snowmobilers, hikers and gold mining. I enjoy talking about gold mining history in our area. I also would like to meet other veterans, disabled or not, especially veterans who are serving as Marines or have served in the past. Would also like to meet old classmates from school and guys from my platoon in boot camp plt 3069, I Co, 3rd Battalion as well as anyone I may have served with in 1st FSSG at Camp Pendleton or recruiting school at MCRD in San Diego-1981. Also am interested in chatting with other former Marine Recruiters or even those currently serving.

Yes we are...but whats exciting is that we arent in the garage anymore. Now we are meeting in a theater! How exciting...it feels like a real church now
I was way too busy taking advantage of the fresh powder to worry about the robins. They are safe to fly another day. There was about a foot of fresh powder to play in.
It was good to hear from you! I'm happy to see some new snow, I bet there's even more up high. Last week-end we unloaded at Blue Springs and rode to Granite all on the ridgetops on the fence lines, it was awesome. No one else had been there and the conditions were perfect. I did fall off my sled once climbing a hill and had to watch helplessly as it rolled back down to the bottom. All you can do is hope it doesn't hit a tree on its way down - mine didn't.
