sumsRecords, so nennt sich das im Sommer 2006 gegründete Luzerner Label, welches sich ausschliesslich auf nationale Newcomerbands in den Bereichen Punk, Hardcore und Rock konzentriert. Mit viel Enthusiasmus und Freude an der Musik versucht man, den bis anhin noch schläfrigen Schokoladen Staat Schweiz auf die kleinen musikalischen Perlen unseres Landes aufmerksam zu machen und somit an eine grössere Zuhörerschaft gelangen zu können. Hervorragende Bands, die gibt es nicht nur im Land der unbegrenzten Möglichkeiten oder im Reiche der Queen Elizabeth, sondern auch in der Schweiz, jedoch haben sie hierzulande zu wenig Unterstützung und somit fehlt es ihnen an Präsenz. sumsRecords wurde genau aus diesem Grund ins Leben gerufen. Wir promoten Bands, verkaufen Merchandise, veranstalten Konzerte, schreiben CD Reviews und noch vieles mehr. Eben alles was das Herz einer jungen, aufstrebenden Band begehrt.

Hardcore / Punk / Southern Rock from Toronto (CAN)
Cancer Bats have come to destroy. Fueled by a burning desire to rage harder, play louder and have more fun than any other band, Cancer Bats mix hardcore, southern metal and punk rock into a lethal rock and roll explosion. The band originated in May of 2004 to form a project that combined their favourite parts of bands like Refused, Black flag, Led Zeppelin and Down, among others. The four-piece wasted no time writing and recording songs for a self-released EP that saw light in January of 2005. Cancer Bats' long anticipated first full-length record, Birthing The Giant, was released in 2007. With hundreds of shows, and many epic tours under their belts, Cancer Bats are eager to party in every city, town and metropolis that will have them.
