Hey everyone....welcome back to the Sunbear page. When we set this up the idea was to put some of the unheard songs up and let everyone know what the band members were up to now. What followed was, of course, typically Sunbear! We sat on our arse for a long time and did nothing.
But now we are motivated! ish!
Martin, has been busy with his exploits with the Ruby Tailights. The debut album Dressing Up was pretty well received locally and is starting to make some minor ripples in Japan, Canada and the states. Album number two is now in the process of being recorded and world domination is still a mere and very very very slight possibility! See the Ruby Tailights myspace page for details.
Colin is now a FULL TIME musician! Between working on solo material under the guise of Bedbugs he also plays bass for the Ruby Tailights and guitar for the Miriam Ingram band. Most recently Colin has remixed a track for the forthcoming Miriam Ingram album Trampolonica and plans a bedbugs release by the end of 2007. Check the bedbugs myspace page for details.
Patrick (thats me) still struggles to play drums in time for the Ruby Tailights! Couldn't ever imagine doing it for anyone else I guess! In the grown up world I look after Dublins finest criminals in Mountjoy prison.
Paul has opted out of the musical rock and roll life style and just goes for the rock and roll bit now. Dividing his time between Cadiz, Spain, and Dublin, Ireland, via Sevilla, Italy, States etc etc etc. He funds this transient rock and roll adventure by occasionally cooking some classy grub for cash!
Joe Chester is a successful solo artist and producer. Joe's new album is an imminent release. Check out his myspace page for details. Joe also produced the Ruby Tailights album "Dressing Up"....spotting a trend here?
FINALLY . " The Stars Are Underground" the legendary low budget documentary film concerning alternative, hardcore and independent music way back in Celtic Kitten 90's Dublin is up and embedded on it's page in three easily digested parts. Come take a look if you get a chance.
