This year we are throwing a special Christmas party on BOXING DAY at the SWG3 WAREHOUSE.
It will be on the 1st floor Warehouse , where alongside residents RONNIE & AFFI KOMAN we will bring you a live set from EKKOHAUS...one of the most promising house techno acts to emerge of the past two years.
Greek born Kostas found his way to electronic music via playing vibraphone and marimba while studying on an orchestra percussion course in the early 90s. Feeling restrictions with this area of music, Kostas began to tinker with drum machines and other electronic instruments, which ultimately lead to working with computers to create his compositions under the name Ekkohaus.
With a high demand of interest in London and an ever increasing schedule in Berlin. His musical virtuosity has taken him to almost every major city in Europe. Playing regularly at Watergate and Arena Club, Berlin, Fabric in London, and Raum and Mochima, Barcelona.
Ekkohaus moved from London to Berlin in 2008, where he now runs his own night – Strictly No Dancing – that focuses on a different listening approach to music. Over the years Ekkohaus’ electronic ventures have appeared on labels such as Safari Electronique, Liebe Detail, Cargo Edition, Circus Company and of course 2020Vision.
We are eagerly anticipating what sonic delights Ekkohaus will treat us to – renowned for his electronic repetitive grooves, deep bass and weird vocal recordings - this will be one of the high lights of the Christmas Calendar!
