Having had a very successful career in London as a producer at KISS FM, Melissa decided to opt for a change of scenery and tempo. A vacation in Marbella led to two job offers, returning to England Melissa packed her bags and headed for Marbella! Melissa started a daily radio show 'The Mid Morning Jam' on Global FM 96.5 broadcasting from Nerja to Gibraltar and she was also a resident DJ at the exclusive beach club Ocean Club. Melissa stayed in Marbella for 2 years before deciding on her move to Barcelona in June 09. In two weeks of arriving Melissa's 'luck' continued as she is a resident Dj at the recently opened Sotavento (Grupo Esta) and during the summer DJ-ed at various venues around the city.

Melissa's DJ set's reflects her exposure to various musical genres 'If it's got Funk in it then it gets a spin' is her answer to any enquiry as to what she plays. A musical journey of Soul, Funk, RnB, Reggae, Hip-Hop, World music and Soulful House is what you can expect from one of her set's. Although if required to play a certain genre for a set, a huge and varied growing music collection means there's always enough to go around! Music was the reason that led Melissa to her radio and DJ-ing career and so she will continue to be a 'Slave to the Rhythm' (Grace Jones).
