Sunday Night

Music Show
is a local sounds video series type of program that is currently taped on location at various venues in eastern Iowa and western Illinois.

The original purpose of this program was to give local musicians an audience beyond the customary fan following, to widen horizons for both venues and performers, as well as to present a variety of talent and musical styles to a public that otherwise would not have been aware of anything beyond MTV, VH1, or the big record companies.

Since the premier episode was launched in July of 2006, the response has been most favorable from the musicians and venues involved. We have videotaped performers in venues as varied as it gets. We have been to churches, bars, book stores, classrooms, basements, street festivals and council chambers. We have witnessed and presented to the public professionals and amateurs alike, always mindful of presenting the performance as realistically as if you were there in person to witness it yourself. In other words this is not another attempt to make music videos with a lot of fancy effects and distractions, but rather an attempt to present and preserve what really was, letting the music and performers be real and personal with the audience.

The
Sunday Night
Music Show
is currently seen on Public Access TV and, as we begin our fourth year of production, the program will be offered to more selected cable television systems.
