   About Sunday Showcase
The 'Sunday Showcase' is an opportunity for the north-east's most exciting new folk and traditional music talent to shake their thang! Between 5.30 and 8pm every Sunday at the Egypt Cottage, Newcastle Upon Tyne. Your hosts Mr Thomas Oakes and Mr Damien O'Kane present a 'folk club' with a difference! (primarily being that it is no a folk-club and we no sticka fingers in our ears or anywhere else) Performers are encouraged to be experimental, daring and not to play it safe! Exciting opportunities may well be avaliable in the future . . . . . . . . If you have a demo CD bring it along and we'll regularly rotate tracks on this hear My Space to give YOU a chance to be heard by the masses! To guarantee a slot either, get down early!
