With the phrase ”I hope you burn in hell for what you have done” Swedish band Sunday Sound kick-starts their first single “More than Dead”. Lead singer Daniel wrote the song on the roof of the studio after a very disturbing phone call from his girlfriend while the rest of the band was busy recording.
A quick google-search confirms that things have been moving around Sunday Sound for quite a while. Lots of gigs, interviews on websites, radioplays, festivals, recommendations among bloggers etc comes up. The debut album, produced by Charles Storm, was released in October 2007 and the first preview was the single “More than dead”.
Sunday Sound is currently in the studio recording new material. The follow-up to last years Drama Queen is a four-song EP which contains the song Silence which was inspired by one of the bands MySpace fans when Sunday Sound held a contest where the best secret would end up as a song. The band got to hear a lot of secrets but decided in the end for the one that became Silence.
The EP is set to be released in September. Date will be announced.

My old friend King Gully was the first Rasta surfer on the wild North Shore of Barbados. This song is based on his true story.
