SUNDIVER: (sun’div’er), n., v., 1. three or more singer / songwriters, blending and performing their own, as well as each others’ musical works. 2. as if written by more than one author from the same pen on different paper. 3. a related collection of multiple musical thoughts and experiences, articulated vocally and sonically with the absolute finest of presentations.
Greg Lee- One of the most recognized faces in the Atlanta music scene, Greg has played bass and guitar with Atlanta’s most acclaimed bands, as well as with national acts such as Peter Searcy, Michael Tolcher, Angie Aparo, and The Marvelous 3. Always an engaging performer, Greg began showcasing his original solo material regularly in 2005. Greg asked two fellow songwriter friends to think about bringing their solo material together with his own, and subsequently the band SUNDIVER came to life.
Jeff Gardner- Jeff comes from a rock / pop band background, though in 2005 his acoustic, “country” songs began eating up the storage space in his home studio. Soon, these songs started to appear on Jeff’s solo performance set list. The fan response was overwhelming. Once the idea of SUNDIVER was proposed, his musical evolution became obvious.
Johnny Andrews- Founding member of Johnny Hyde Quartet, one of Atlanta’s most respected and missed local bands, Johnny has seen his career shift in recent years from live performances to an increased focus on writing and producing for other artists. With dozens of original country songs already in his arsenal, he was looking for a vehicle to present them. Greg and Jeff were looking for the same thing, and SUNDIVER was born.
