REVIEW: Come and Get Saved>>>>>
In The Sundown Sinners, I've actually found a band whose music is as demented and inspired as their promo-material. This EP is a revelation! here are the highlights - 'So Young Then', a punch-up in a Johnny Cash theme pub, all piss-and-splinters; 'The Leaving Song,' fractured balladry reminiscent of Paul Weller's more pastoral moments, languid and lovely as a stretch of Memphis highway. At once earthy, wild and evocative, this EP sees The Sundown Sinners - a favourite of 6 Music's Gideon Coe - lay their plans to convert the world. I, for one, am a dumb disciple. Spot on.<<<<<<

Based in the Deep South (of London..) this 4 piece band deliver a fistful of original tunes with cast-iron integrity and redemptive reflection. Spaghetti-pop/punk-western with rockabilly and ska inflections, this band will infect you with intense musical grooves and could just save your soul....
