Interests

  • General

    I am most interested in my children and raising them to be loving moral and nonjudgmental adults, parents and partners. However I do actually love to sew and I love to read and the thrill of a new tattoo, I am currently working on a half sleeve on my left arm. Other than that I do not watch much television. I suppose an interest of mine would also be my childrens intrests and hobbies, with Sunny its music, clothes, & tattoos. With Jacob it would be guns and knives let us not forget all the Pokemon jargin I have endured. Natalie well at the moment its Hannah Montana The Jonas Bros. and BARBIES. My own intrests as of late would have to be my new found love of Shrimp boat working, thanks to my big brother. I also love to hit the road on impromptu adventures, but that can be rare these days.

    Everything from John Denver to the Ramones. I love Natalie Merchant as probably an all time favorite, and 10,000 maniacs when she was the lead. Good grief what a question, am I supposed to list every band I like? How ridiculous!

  • Movies

    HAIR, THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW, SRGT PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND, HONEYSUCKLE ROSE, LEGEND, SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER, WD CINDERELLA, CRY BABY, PULP FICTION, HAROLD AND MAUDE, WEDDING CRASHERS THE LIST GOES ON AND ..DROP DEAD FRED, MONTY PYTHONS THE HOLY GRAIL! OH MY GODS! 300! & BEOWULF AND GRENDAL WITH GB, OH AND COLEMINERS DAUGHTER!

  • Television

    The O.C. and The Sopranos. Unfortunately they finished Six Feet Under and Queer as Folk. The new show Big Love maybe interesting, to soon to tell. Big Love proved itself fast. All my favorites have ended have not found anything of late.

  • Books

    The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova, Bringing Up Boys by Dr James Dobson, Love VC Andrews, alittle incest and smut, Dr. Suess is always great, All kinds I love to read! Anne Rice, yeah Lestat. Jack Kerouac, William Faulkner, Anias Nin and many more authors. Biographical stuff, anything, honestly I can't help but read the shampoo in the shower. I love to read! what more is their to say.....keep reading

About me:

I grew up in the Atlanta area. My roots are in the North Georgia mountains of Lookout Mtn. I have lived all over the South East and prefer the places where the palm trees grow and the sand gets in crevices. I have three great children, two girls and a boy. Sunny is 18 and graduated this year, she just moved to Clearwater to go to school. Jacob is 10 and in the 5th grade, he is my athlete and resident smart guy. Natalie is 7 and in the 2nd grade, she is my diva. My life is full of my children and their activities. You can never give too much of your self to the ones you love the most! A solid familial foundation is the begining to a solid life. My goal, as a parent, is to give my children the same history and appreciation of family and of their heritage my folks did, and culture lots of culture.
