I just want to say thanks to Mark for the great solo show in Austin TX last week. My friends and I really enjoyed the show... It'd be great if the whole band could come back for SXSW in March; the only thing I really missed from Mark's set was a rousing chorus of Lily & Parrots! Peace out, Napoleon.

ok so ive been leaving obnoxious comments on all my band 'friends' but i cant really do that with you guys because i respect and love your music so much... it really touches a personal part of my heart and soul... keep up the good job.... oh and by the way.... the first song on ghosts of the great highway... the drums coming in after like three minutes.... it changed how i look at drums and there roll in songs.... beatiful tension and release in that song.... i like clark gable... but my dads obsessed with charlie chan... can i get a comment back with some love.... oh yeah and SHOPGIRL was amazing... i freaked out when i saw you playing mark... great acting too....

Great acoustic set in LA on Saturday. Opening with "Grace Cathedral Park"? Stellar. Closing with "Salvador Sanchez"? Gorgeous. Being aware of one's own catalog? Priceless.
