Sun Like Blood is a new alternative rock act already making waves in the Australian and international music scene. After already scoring airplay on Triple J's Full Metal Racket, Introducing with Tom Robinson on BBC6 in the UK, 3RRR's Musically Incorrect, Radio Paperlate in the Netherlands and the Shockwave/Hard Radio podcast in LA with our first instrumental demo recording the future looks promising.
Sun Like Blood craft emotional, atmospheric and powerful music combining several styles into a hybrid sound all our own. What you hear on this page is the result of three musicians jamming with a shared vision but individual styles, coming together to create a unique sound that transcends the sum of its parts. There are no rules, no limitations and no restrictions on what we do. What we do is create timeless music, independent of trends, solely to further our sound and vision. We hope you enjoy it.

After months of Judging and deliberation and with over 4,000 votes from the general public we are pleased to announce the finalists for each category of the 2009 Australian Metal Awards. Check our website for the details.
The winners will be announced on the 7th of November at the 2009 Australian Metal Awards Show which will be held at the Forum (Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park, NSW). Anyone who buys a pre-sale ticket to the 2009 Australian Metal Awards before Wednesday the 30th of September will go in the running to win 2 tickets to “Screamfest”.
Screamfest is a two day event commencing New Years Eve at the Enmore Theatre, Sydney. There will also be a third day of celebrations on Sydney Harbour with a Heavy Metal boat cruise.
