Coming up in Monticello, AR, Mista Mac has always been one that kept his hands in everything. A strait A student until Jr High School. In and out of trouble, he landed himself a bed in Arkansas Varner Correctional Unit at the age of 17 years old. After a short bid of only 10 months, he decided to take advantage of the rap scean after seeing his fellow classmates JD Slim & Bobo, "Duce Ballas", push their cd, "Duce Of A Kind". He join the team of Boss Playas and relocated with them to Little Rock, Ar in 2002. He constintly spit hits on the mic working with other artist in Arkansas as well as the members of Sunny Side Click. With him refusing to get a job and noticing that just rapping isn’t enough, him and JD Slim set out a goal to make Sunny Side Click a house hold name in Arkansas. He’s seen everywhere selling and promoting himself and Sunny Side Click. To date, those two alone has sold 7,000 copies out the trunk landing them a distribution deal with Paper Chasin’ Distribution out of Kansas City, MO. He visits the real underground station 88.3 regularly out of love for music and the independent artist. He describes himself as self made and determined. I guess his motto ’If it aint benificial, its artificial’ is finally paying off

Like a lot of young cats, JD began rapping at the age of 16. It started as a hobby with JD when he and his friend since the first grade, Bobo of Lacey, Ar, dropped their first album, "Untouchables", under Boss Playa Records. Calling themselves "Duce Ballas" the returned two years later with "Duce Of A Kind", which sold around 1,500 copies. He, Mista Mac, and Bobo soon moved to Little Rock, Ar. It was then he began to realize their talent, so he chunked out "Underground Bossin 2k3" wit ease. He then teamed up with fellow member Mista Mac and put together "Too Tho’d Vol 1" in early 2004 to create a better buzz for Sunny Side Click. In spring of 05’, JD decides to drop out of college to pursue his music full time. He released a solo mixtape while workin on the compliation "Who Ya Rydin’ Wit". In Summer of 05’, "Who Ya Rydin’ Wit" flooded the Little Rock street because of JD and Mista Mac’s dedication to sell out of their trunks to be heard. Over 5,000 sold to date. Not willing to quit yet, he and Mista Mac released "Too Tho’d Vol 2" in March of 06’. Now JD plans on creating his own business called "Legit Benefit Ent" that is sure to be a success because if it aint benificial, its artificial
