Television
I haven't had TV reception for the last couple of years, so I only know tv from other peoples living rooms and from netflix, but here are a few shows I've caught and really liked:
Charmed, Monk, Black Books, Homocide, the Office - both British and American versions, Law and Order, Magnum PI, Scooby Doo, Extreme House Makeover, BBC's What Not to Wear, Dexter's Laboratory, Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends, BBC's Ground Force, Monarch of the Glen, all good stuff.
Books
I like books with beautiful language that carry me away to other worlds of thought.
Currently Reading: Notes From the Underground by Dostoevsky, Interaction of Color by Josef Albers, The Business of Art, Collectiong Contemporary, A Reading of Modern Art by Dore Ashton, The Great War for Civilization by Robert Fisk.
Recently Finished Reading: David Copperfield by Dickens, Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events Series, Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, The BFG by Roald Dahl.
A few notable favorites: The Brothers Karamozov, Treasure Island, The Jungle Book, most anything by Roald Dahl, Bury Me Standing, The Veil and the Male Elite, The Phantom Tollbooth, Into Thin Air
