Sunny Weather Daze (SWD) was formed back in the 80s (that's right kids, the 80s) on the sunny isle of Bermuda by songwriter/bassist/drum programmer George D. (aka "Geo) and his friend/guitarist/singer Greg B. After moving to the States to marry his Queen, Geo settled down in the music mecca that is Littleton Ma and searched for kindred souls. Just so happened Mike A., singer/songwriter/guitarist/keyboardist was working as a waiter in the very same restaurant as Geo, a quick call and Greg flew up and SWD II was launched. After a "mildly successful" round of gigging and the release of "Greetings from a Distant Outpost" the money ran out and Greg had to fly home. Not too long after that a mutual friend introduced us to guitarist Doug J. who knew drummer Richie P. and SWD III was off and running. But alas it wasn't to be, after a couple of years of gigging and the recording of "Banquet of Consequence", life got in the way (bills and shit) and the band broke up in the late 90s (amicably) with a catalog of over fifty original songs. Well you know what people, we're baaack!!! Kind of, Mike and I have been laying down new tracks with the help of Mitch K. (Masters in Music Education, with published articles Classical Forums.com and Expert Village.com) on saxophone to add a new dimension to the Sunny Weather Daze, hope you enjoy! This is Geo, peace out!
