One day while perusing the internet, we stumbled upon THE ELEANOR SHOW on YouTube. We were so impressed by Eleanor's fun and energetic lip sync performances of popular songs, we contacted her and asked if she could perform one of our silly little dittys.
Surpisingly, she agreed! So now she has crafted her own rendition of "SUIT AND TIE" and we couldn't be happier!

Paul Simon meets Jeff Buckley and Ben Folds at the Blue Note with a pot of coffee, piano fingercakes, upright bass scones, and luscious lemon voice bars. Music occurs and none involved are ever the same. Or like this:
Hello, this is Sunroom. We are a New York Folksicana group from the outer boroughs of New York City. Old-fashioned yet distinctly modern, Sunroom likes to tear up the Book of Song, throw the pieces onto the floor, and gleefully dance upon the remnants - usually with a pair of shoes that couldn’t get any more folk, early rock n’ roll, or jazz stuck in the soles. In short, they play simple, unpolished, and alive music with introspective and soulful lyrics.
Our debut self-titled CD - Sunroom- is a collection of songs recorded live in a tiny East Village apartment on a hot June weekend. We were aiming for a record that is refreshingly minimalistic and performance-based so we adopted the old-fashioned oft- forgotten "one-take" approach - most likely 'cause we couldn't bear thinking we'd be recording our parts of each song in separate rooms and at separate times. We love playing together too much for that. That being said, we did go to a proper studio to get our songs mastered by a cool fella named Fred Kevorkian, who has mastered albums by (WARNING: name-dropping ahead) Regina Spektor, Ryan Adams, and Willie Nelson to name a few.
Sunroom is Ryan Hobler (Songsmith, Vocalist, Guitarist) & Ethan Halpern (Bassist) plus a handful of awesome friends with lots of skills!
Thanks for stopping by and listening.
