Paul Simon meets Jeff Buckley and Elliott Smith at the Blue Note with a pot of coffee, piano fingercakes, upright bass scones, and luscious lemon voice bars.
Sunroom is an acoustic trio from the outer boroughs of New York City. They play "postmodern folksicana": simple, unpolished, and alive music with introspective and soulful lyrics.
Sunroom - their debut self-titled CD - is a collection of songs recorded live one hot June weekend in an East Village Apartment. With a minimalistic and performance-based production, each Sunroom song is a series of moments captured in time.
Remarkably, their old-fashioned "one-take" approach to recording makes Sunroom's music a refreshing change of pace. The absence of slick studio polish and wizardry only serves to bring an authenticity, immediateness, and intimacy to each tune, making it all the easier to break your heart ("Down Came the 4th Wall"), question your morals ("How You Look At It") and move forward ("Afraid of the Moon").
There is a world outside and Sunroom invites you in. Thanks for stopping by and listening
Hey Ryan and Elliot! Handosme Halpern and I used to work together in LA. I hope to see you play LIVE in my neighborhood one of these days soon... Cheers to you too! Amanda

Wow, I see you guys have been so busy that Ryan hasn't even had time to get rid of the clap...(or the crackle, even.) Poor guy....Jeez, get him to the doc for a dose of penicillin or something...(the girls always knew he was a "hot shot", but this puts it on a much different level...)
OK, I've run out of STD jokes. Take my wife, please...
