Only in their early twenties, Sunset Avenue is veterans to the live music scene. They know what people want and they deliver. Mixing reggae, rhythm and blues, a touch of country and a splash of rock, Sunset Avenue will put you in a laid back sing-a-long on the sands of the Gulf Coast.
Sunset Avenue has gained success with their first independent single “Alabama Gulf Coast” receiving radio air-play on Country, Adult Contemporary, Indie & Alternative Rock as well as College radio all over the United States and The Virgin Islands. (list of radio stations found on myspace).
Sunset Avenue has also been featured on international podcasts and has garnered the attention of major publishing companies. They have shared the stage with artists like Atlanta Rhythm Section, Corey Smith, Heartland, Saving Jane, Michael Warren, The Friday Night Gigolos, Corey Crowder, Five Times August, and Big Ben Atkins.
Influenced by the beach rock sound of Jimmy Buffett, the soul of Marvin Gaye, and the folk feel of Jack Johnson, Sunset Avenue brings something for everyone at every show.
