Sunset Recording Studios (SRS) is a small commercial recording studio started in 2004 after 20 years as a moving project and demo studio under the moniker of EA Productions and REP Productions that recorded over 1,000 songs and hundreds of sessions throughout NY, MA, LA, FL, CA and NC.
SRS is located in a deceptively quiet, yet seething cauldron of music, called Asheboro located in the Triad region of North Carolina. This small city hides a boiling deep undercurrent of great music, from Hardcore to Rock to Country to Rap to Beach to Bluegrass and Americana and back again - through every genre. At SRS we work with them all.
Owned and run by Berklee College of Music Alum. Rhob Elliott, you can be assured that you have a pro working with you and assisting you with getting your sound right and down on tape (well hard disk now - tape retired long ago). As an accomplished musician, songwriter and producer Rhob also brings a very holistic understanding of the process and works with both emerging artists to develop their sound and established artists in being true to it. Now joining the team is Wes Norman who will be serving as Assistant Engineer and running the studio during the days. Come by and say hello!
