About me: Just south of Market Street on historic Ballard Avenue. The Sunset was a Chinese resturaunt in the 1940s-1970s when it became one of Ballard's most notorious dive-bars. In 2000, Max bought it, built a stage, put in a decent sound-system started having shows, the kickoff night featured late, great Seattle Blues legend Dave Conant...Currently The Sunset hosts a wide variety of local, national and international acts (almost) 7 nights a week
Who I'd like to meet: Good friends, good music, good times
I was eating socks last night, I plucked them off the washing line one by one by the sink. The yellow socks as usual tasted best. As I thumbed through the socks to make my selection they played different notes - the longer athletic socks made deep resonant sounds, while the shorter dress socks produced higher pitched tones that set my teeth on edge.
Someday we would love to play the sunset. but in the meantime we have to settle for this:
