  | | Music | depends on my mood really... if i feel like rockin' out, i like the following: flyleaf, 3 days grace, 30 seconds to mars, fireflight.
if i feel like cruising along to more mellow tunes, i prefer: lily allen or regina spektor.
also gotta show mad love for old skool hip-hop: snoop, dre, swv, tlc, tupac, biggie, and any of the like.
some other favorites in miscellaneous genres include: sublime, the fugees, and evanescence.
but in all actuality, me and my son usually jam to my pirate cd. :P | | Books | I'm beginning to discover that I read way too much. To list all of the books that I truly love could take a lifetime. Instead, I'll clue you in on some of my all-time favs:
- The Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer (I could read these books 5,000 times and still fall in love with them more and more each time)
- Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling (instant classics)
- Go Ask Alice by the infamous anonymous (a first love)
- & (of course) there's no greater book to live by than, The Bible. =] |

About me:

A little about myself: My name is Angela. People call me Angi. I'm short, get over it. I'm blonde, in every sense of the word, but occasionally I break free from the stereo type and exhibit some witty intellect! I have a son, his name is Elijah, & he is absolutely amazing! Each day holds a new surprise in our lives! It's an adventure just to wake up and see what God holds in store! We've recently begun taking Karate lessons (a.k.a Ninja Training) and it has proven to be an exhilarating experience. We've got a long way to go, but we're learning. I am a hairdresser and I couldn't love my job more! Nothin' but love for my homies at work! They are like my family. I do consider myself a rather spiritual person, although I try not to get caught up in the traditions of religion. I love my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ with all of my being and attempt to live my life according to His will. Not to say that I do not struggle and fall short, but I do try to abstain from actions that could cause a negative result in my life and faith. I do not drink and rarely even step foot into a bar. My life utterly revolves around my family (that includes my friends,) my church, and my career. I'm involved with a couple different ministries in my church including our Young Adult group called The Bridge. I've met some truly wonderful people there that never cease to amaze me in their strength and encouragement! If you've read this far, I take it upon myself to assume that you find me at least somewhat interesting, lol. Feel free to drop a friend request my way, but please leave a message as well!
