SUNS OF SU: Be it the four elements, the four points of compass or just the ever effective four man line up of countless legendary rock and roll bands SUNS OF SU have that natural symmetry one cant really put into words except to say "whatever it is, the shit works". Literally formed systematically like a machine, each member came together through the neccesity of their relative parts giving function to invention. A music of substance played with determination SUNS OF SU stand apart if not for their commentary on emotion then for their strength alone. Ask each member and they'll tell you its only rock and roll, but with the pulse and deep fuzz of Drummer LUKE STOKER and Bassist LUCIOUS BOND the bottom end can easily be described as pure dynamic groove, formidably accentuated by JAMES CHESHER on Guitar paying homeage and showing up the classic six string Gibson players of yore. In front Singer IVO BUSATO produces an uniinhibited and passionate vocal complimenting a poetry of angst, observation and concern. Together SUNS OF SU have been proudly delivering a refreshingly raw intelligence and honesty to Sydney's live music scene for the past two years, suprising and sweeping up punters to join their dedicated following. Every once in a while a band comes along as if from the stars to renew our faith in popular music. Enter SUNS OF SU.
