Supanice is not your average Mc he has recently been making an impact in his hometown of Newcastle, gaining a lot of respect from Artists from Newcastle, London, L.A to Miami. After making a name for himself through his freestyling and battling he has become one of the most promising Mc’s to come out of the Northeast. His first release was the mix-tape Supa Who? Volume 1 followed by the solo effort titled Back is the way forward. On this album he teamed up with producers Dom P, Steesh and Miami’s very own Doc suS of the GCD. He credits Nas’s & Jay-Z for their vivid story telling and sharp delivery also The Wu’Tang Clan and A Tribe Called Quest for the raw energy and various styles that inspired him to start writing rhymes. Supanice was first seen performing at the green festival and the Mela Festival then going on to perform a live P.A in Newcastle’s HMV store. Supanice has also been seen performing at Bar Beyond, Envy, Stereo, Attic, The Cluny and the 02 Academy. He has supported and worked along side Butta Verses who can be heard on De La Soul’s grind date, Capone of CNN (Capone and Noreaga) singer Lucian, Mike Beatz and Lex One of Wizard Sleeve, Latino artist Chino XL and the UK’s very own Skinnyman. Supanice sees the world as his canvas and just wants to paint it and leave his mark through his music. He is aiming to bring a new fresh style that hasn’t been heard before and wants to put Newcastle on the map! Recently Supanice and King Fred have started up a new movement for all North East artists called KEEP THE FAITH, which aims to bring Northeast music to every corner of the world.
