Only three months ago Superbrands were a two-piece band from Zagreb, consisting of Adi (vocals/rhythm guitar) and Hrvoje (lead guitar/vocals). Having awoken from a 6-year long hibernation after the dismissal of their former band Thee Larche, the two have spent May/June 2007 in the studio of the most prominent Croatian producer Denyken, re-recording, updating, upgrading, and (hopefully) improving 'Places", their dearest child, though now merely one of their many promising ones.

Some may recall that their former band, Thee Larche, in which they played the leading role as composers and musicians, left a considerable trace on the music scene of Croatia. Their contribution includes more than 25 recorded songs, several dozen concerts, some of which were attended by thousands of people, and two live appearances on the national TV in 2001. The two concerts at Rock Garden and Taylor's clubs in London in 1997 are an especially cherished memory.

How things can change in just three months! Joined by their old acquaintances Bela (aka Robert) on drums and Robert (aka Trebor) on bass, the band recently put on a tremendeous display of passion and genuineness on the stage of one of Zagreb's most popular clubs, Sax, leaving nobody indifferent. This was only the beginning of a series of captivating gigs and the band is certain that their audiences in other clubs, towns, and countries will be equally thrilled and determined to come and see the band - again and again.
