I sort of collect playing cards. But it's not a really good collection, and most of the time I can't be arsed. But I do have a few decks of cards that I really like, and they're in an album and everything. Sad, I know. Still it could be worse. It could be stamps.

I also like Damien Rice, Angela McCluskey and Jill Scott.

TRIVIA! I sometimes claim to own every Madonna single. It's a lie: I don't own the American Life single. | | Movies | My favourite films (in the order I thought of them) are:

- Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (obviously the subtitled version, not the dubbed version)

I recently re-watched Hamam: The Turkish Bath, which is a very good film.
TRIVIA! Despite it being one of my favourite films, I've never seen the end of Clueless. | | Television | I don't really get to watch much telly, but I tend to make time for Coronation Street and occasionally a few of the other soaps. Question Time infuriates me, but I tend to watch it every week. Most of the programmes I catch are on ntl: OnDemand.

TRIVIA! I once auditioned for The Weakest Link. | | Books | I prefer plays and poetry. But if we're talkling books, then my favourites are:
- The Queen and I, Sue Townsend
- Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, JK Rowling (read it properly, and you;ll understand what an amazing book it is, and what a wonderful character Dolores Umbridge is)
- Mother Tongue, Bill Bryson
- The Silver Chair, C. S. Lewis

I recently read Wicked by Gregory Maguire, and I really enjoyed it. I'll probably read it again. When I do, it will probably appear on my Favourites list.

About me:
The Official Version
''John McClark was born in 1984 in East Yorkshire. He grew up in a suburb of Hull and attended Wolfreton School until 2002. Between 2002 and 2004 he studied German and Linguistics at the University of Leeds, where he also sat on the committee of the LGBT Society. He worked as a Volunteer with Leeds Student Community Action, mainly volunteering on Children's projects. He now works as a croupier at Napoleon's Casino in Leeds.
John lives with his partner, Daniel, in Alwoodley, Leeds. He is writing his second poetry collection.''

Quite frankly, I wouldn't. I normally prefer meeting people in real life. But I wouldn't ignore anyone who DID make contact.
