Artist Management Russell Toomey and the Innercity Pirates, hailing from Wales-ish, the early signs bode well for Toomey and his vagabond Pirates; "Single of the Week" on Radio 1, "Vinyl of the Week" (NME), 6 Music Playlists, Xfm Sessions, acres of press and a hundred thousand miles of countryside laid waste through the "tours of duty".
The band have just finished their debut album "Cutting Noses, Chasing Tales" recorded with Pedro Ferreira at the Strongroom studios in Shoreditch.

Multi-national Londonians the Laurel Collective released their debut mini album on Domino off-shoot Double Six records in '08 and now host a club night and a secret festival in a forrest (In The Woods). Hand crafted art/ blog release, "Fax of Death e.p" built on previous milestones and with their new self produce direction spawning releases with Pure Groove Records and Kruger Singles Club, spilling this psych-pop loveliness from a shared warehouse space in East London is what this sextet are vibing on.
