Influences
Greenday, Sum41 & Blink182, their lively rhythm, pleasing melody as well as the youngful lyric.
And also we're influenced by the AMK, they were the famous indie band in 90s H.K. We like their frank lyric and the way of telling story.
A H.K. indie band which has been formed in Spring 2002.
Now we have 3 guys & 1 girl as guitar, bass, drum & vocal. We've been playing a simply pop-punk with a cute female voice as well as some fresh indie rock songs.
Our songs were emphasized the melody & lyrics. We'll tell you some interesting stories & day-to-day trivia, no restful of the world but the experience of life; & hope you can have the same feeling as well as make you laugh even if you can't get the message hid......
& show you the loveable faces of anger.
Superday於2002年5月組成，成員幾經變動，約於2004年成員固定為三男一女的陣容，三位男成員主要負責鼓、結他和低音結他，而女成員則負責主唱。曲風以簡單的pop-punk再加上可愛的女聲主唱為主，亦有一些清新的indie rock作品。歌曲較著重於旋律和歌詞，歌詞多以生活迭事或有趣故事來帶出我們的訊息。沒有憤世嫉俗的叫喊，只有生活的點滴，希望聽者得到共鳴，就算聽不到歌曲中的訊息，也希望引你們發笑，讓你知道憤怒原來可以這麼可愛。
風格可以算是 cutie pop 與punk pop之混合，因為兩者都是成員喜愛的音樂風格，受美國樂隊 Green Day影響最大，包括其爽快的節奏，悅耳的流行曲旋律， 還有簡單而年輕率性的歌詞…還有SUM41、BLINK182等樂隊。另一方面，香港90年代初的班霸獨立樂隊AMK對Superday的音樂態度和歌詞表達手法，影響亦十分大，歌曲簡單直接，講的故事可愛、可笑，或許可以令人有另一番領會…
