The team played well. Shaun Wright Philips’ hard work resulted with him scoring from a short corner by Beckham. Peter Crouch started the match and scored 2 goals.
Usually I would do a full report but this time I was annoyed that man of the match went to David Beckham. Its no fault of Beckham that he was chosen to win man of the match. He did make an impact when he came on in the second half. Anyone could see that Peter Crouch deserved man of the match. All the England players put in a good team performance. All of them did a good job.
Its good that England ended the qualifiers with a win.
