"Some serious transatlantic collabo flavour from Leicester-based boom-bap specialist ED209 and Queensbridge OG Imam Thug. Considering the high level of genuine musical chemistry heard here, it’s easy to forget there was an entire ocean separating the pair during the recording of this track. Imam’s street-orientated god-body rhymes are a perfect fit for 209’s rolling piano loop and airy vocal samples . The end result lands somewhere between vintage Tragedy Khadafi and early Capone-N-Noreaga.
4 / 5"

"Queensbridge meets Leicester collabo shit coming your way, my homeboy Ed209 has laced Imam Thug with some neck snap business entitled 'Karma360'. He's currently getting the final mix down, and it's due to drop on 12" at the end of May, via Voodoo Rhythm Devil Records. Thoroughly heavy Hip Hop people, taking it back to the really real..."

"It's safe to say that Leicester-based producer ED209° probably spent his youth analysing the organised noise of The Bomb Squad, studying the low end theories of A Tribe Called Quest, and daydreaming about entering Ced Gee's fabled Ultra Lab
...back with the "Stayexstatic" EP, ED drops more of that rough, rugged and raw boom-bap that makes you screw your face up, adopt a b-boy stance and bang your head until your eyeballs almost fall out. A gifted manipulator of sound, ED has once again chosen the perfect group of lyricists to accompany his futuristic funk. Konny Kon pummels "Black Thorn Rose" with his semi-automatic lyricism, while Cappo demand his props over the chopped guitars of "The Majestic". "The Great Godz" finds princess of poetry C-Mone swooping down over the track's ethereal soundscape like an around-the-way angel, dodging speaker-popping bass-drops to deliver her views on the shortcomings of the modern world. Hip-Hop lives!"

“...a stonker of a follow up to his debut EP. This the Stillexstatic EP carries on where the last one left off and the beats are just as savage as ever...Stillexstatic is uncompromising. The drums are super heavy and roll just as we are used to...This release is a touch more melodic...but, never the less it is still very hardcore and you need to be prepared for an aural battering. Having said that though, I can't really commend this highly enough. Go search it out...”

“...209 is no mean purveyor of the break, and clearly fond of his soundtracks...eyezofman warms things up with defiance in the face of the apocalypse over stuttered strings, maracas and powerful drums on the title track, before Cappo rips into his with in trademark tsunami fashion. Live From Siberia has Konny Kon in similarly zealous mode over pounding funky drumming straight from the PE/Hijack era. Finally, all three MCs come together with A-Bomb to wreak destruction in a Baghdad style on Bazzar Bombers. Consistently strong production and a lot of passion make this EP one well worth checking - 4/5.”
