About me: Supergay Detroit is all about finding things that are, um, super gay to do in, uh, Detroit. I don't really like to leave the city limits and the gay scene in Ferndale/RO is just a wee bit too suburban. So I forage through the city to find exceptional places to go, fabulous things to do and hot guys to make out with, and then I write about it on my amazing blog at SupergayDetroit.com.
There's a gay scene here, and this is the story of one upwardly-mobile, 30-something man's fight to find the kind of gay life every good homo deserves.
Who I'd like to meet: Gay people who live and/or recreate in the city. Gay professionals and gay hipsters. Cool lesbians who are not too rowdy and maybe have a lippy in their purse. Gay couples with lovely homes and/or interesting gay single friends.
Gay or straight people who like to get a little fancy. People who own, run or work at faboo businesses. People with big ideas about life in the city. Funny people!
We're thrilled that you have become a 'friend!' We hope to woo you with song and see you evolve from 'friend' to über-fan soon enough. Check the tunes out on iTunes, they sound better there than on myspace. The link is on our main page.
Our new single "It's Not Me, It's YOU" will be out in December, ahead of the release of our sophomore album 'Manic Ghost.' Keep checking out page for upcoming contests, videos and previews of the new album.
You can still buy the old album on iTunes (and Rhapsody, Napster and many others)before the new one is released. If buy it, you're our best friends for life. Ha. You are quite blatantly badass, oh, new friend of ours. =)

The DIA has queer folks reading poetry and/or playing music every Friday night in June. I'm performing music and poetry Friday June 13th @ 6:30 and 8:00. Hope to see some of you there. Peace, Blair
Hey SG, thanks for the very kind words. I've always like your site too; I think it's hilarious. Maybe I'll run into you sometime soon at a certain store downtown...
