   About Supergyre
They said it was madness to try and cross the sharp rhythms of electronica, the gusto of indie and the libidinal pulse of R'n'B; a travesty of nature! But Supergyre showed them; Supergyre showed them all! To the doors of the laboratory they came on that dark night, an enraged swarm, armed with torches, pitchforks and an ungodly lust for the blood of he who dared to challenge the seemingly immutable boundaries of good-taste. Rain whipped across their cheeks and thunder boomed ominously from ashen clouds. Barricaded within the womb of his diabolical playground, a musician toiled in heated concentration over diodes, wires and valves; sweat glistening on his brow. The final preparations were complete; all that remained was to raise his contraption to the roof! The deafening squeal of animated axles and chains abruptly drove the fingers of his unwelcome visitors to their ears. All heads looked up as a shadowy podium thrust from the summit of the building’s belly and into the sky…A silence, quieter than the dead, descended…Suddenly, like the tongue of the devil himself, a bolt of brilliant neon crackled from the sky! From the podium sparks burst and wept fiery tears. The momentary illumination ceased. Blinded eyes grew re-accustomed to the gloom. Far above them, concealed under a singed veil, a monitor glowed into life and a song began to play…

Supergyre is a one man, one machine, entity spawned from the musical melting pot of Leeds shortly after the turn of the 21st Century. No hardware was harmed in the manufacture of this statement.

Big thanx to TestToneAndy for his remix of Cherubim! Check out TestTone3 for more funky shizzel!

Hello. Please do delete this comment if you so wish.

We're just making sure that everyone knows that our debut album 'Horses For Courses' is available to buy from our little record label's online shop:

http://www.donttellclare.co.uk/shop.htm

Its been selling faster than we expected, and we currently only have around a quarter of our stock left - so we thought we'd better you all know that if you want a copy then now would be a good time to pick one up! If you buy it from the link above then you're buying it direct from us, the label aren't taking a cut - so its a bit like Fair Trade for struggling musicians.

International mail-order is available, just follow the instructions.

Thank you very much, and sorry for making a mess of your profile. If its any kind of consolation, we don't have a MySpace bot, so I'm leaving these comments the old fashioned way. Three -and-a-half thousand of them. My life is so exciting.

Lots of love

The Unfortunate Incident - Debut Album Out...Now!

Hello,
We are playing the lovely Cardigan Arms on the 21st of March. Being foreigners from Sheffield, it would be grand if you could pop in and see us and bring a few other Leedsies with you if you are free.

Here are a few nice things people have said about us.
Have a listen on our page and see if you like what we are up to

"AN AMAZING LIVE ACT, I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THEM AGAIN" (Sandman Magazine)

"AN IMPRESSIVE SET FROM A BAND WITH A KNACK FOR WRITING CATCHY SONGS AND DELIVERING THEM LIVE AS WELL AS IN THE STUDIO" (Sandman Magazine)

"PROMISING SONG WRITERS" (Tom Robinson, BBC Radio 6)

"THESE DAYS I FIND THRASH AND POWER POP A BIT REPETITIVE, BUT THIS WAS REMINISCENT OF MORRISSEY WHILE STILL BEING PERSONAL, I HEAR THE POSSIBILITY OF A GOOD FUTURE. IT SOUNDS TO ME LIKE YOU COULD SUPRISE US ALL ONE DAY".
(Paul Gambaccini, BBC Radio 6)

Anyway, it would be nice to see you there.

Hello, we are foreigners from Sheffield that will be playing Leeds on the 12th of December at the Cardigan Arms. It would be grand if you could come and make noise for us, as Sheffield folk are far too frightend to come to a big city like leeds.
Cheers

Come along and support the first of many lively, energetic, soulful sets this band is sure to perform :)

Now then chief! Hope all's well. Just thought I'd give you (another) update! :)

The remix is still in development... slowly but surely! It's been held up by preparation for Casablanca Murder Scene's first gig this Saturday (i.e. writing songs so we actually have something to play!!) but once that's out of the way I'll be adding the finishing touches and chucking it back to you - I just hope you like it after all this waiting! Or if not, at least appreciate the effort that's gone into it, hehe! ;)

Did anyone else get back to you with remixes other than JND?
