To put it simply, we need a new singer. All we can say is that 2008 was a crazy year, but Thank God 2009 is upon us. A new year, a new sound. So, if you think you have what it takes to front a band that plays a mix of funk/rock/pop, then let us know.

Merging styles like funk, metal and rock, SuperImpoze sure like to mix it up. No two songs are alike, but one thing you can guarantee is that every track will come at you with bone crunching beats, cutting guitars, fat and funky bass lines, and vocals that will leave you shaking in your boots. Exuding an energy that only comes from all members being on the same wavelength, SuperImpoze like to push the limits of song writing and musical ability, while at the same time telling stories through their music, in order to gets the audience thinking about the bigger picture. And not only that, they like to get the crowd moving and coming back for more!

The Loft is starting a new gigs project in March 2009 called - "Free For All".
The concept -
In response to increasing requests from local Newcastle bands & promoters to use the venue at a discounted price & run their own shows we will be hosting one Friday show per month as a free entry gig to help promote locals bands & give young promoters the chance to run a free show with bands who need exposure.
What we need-
We need to hear from local bands ( Newcastle & Lower Hunter area only ), Promoters , DJ's & music producers , Hip Hop Acts , Acoustic performers etc. who are looking for gigs , wanting to organise their own shows / events.
Bands & promoters will be responsible for promoting the shows & stage managing bands on the night.
What we will provide-
The Loft will provide the use of the venue , PA System & Operator plus security for the shows.
Running times will be 5-8pm at this stage ( this may change once we start running the gigs).
Promotion via our myspace & regular gig guide listings.
What bands/promoters will be responsible for-
Organising bands for the show, promoting the gig , stage managing the bands, meeting with us in the lead up to update us on the details.
The final decision of which gigs will be run & what bands will be included will be made by the Loft's Music Events Team who meet regularly at the venue on Wednesdays from 4:30pm, to join this group get in touch with us on the details below.
