Superior Enlightenment is an extreme blackened death metal act hailing from the northern lands of Quebec. The band Was formed By Ekinox (Magister Dixit, Scum Sentinel, Spirit of the forest) in 2006 and later on joined by Vocalist/lyricist Néant (fragments of sentience) and Drummer/Vocalist Franky blastbeats (Utlagr,
Veneficium, Esker, Longing for dawn...). Superior Enlightenment performs fast and uncompromising music, with effective dual guitar riffing, epic and brutal arrangements. A furious tight and fast drum attack and over the top vocal arrangements. Superior Enlightenment is an independant band as Franky Blastbeat is the sound engineer and producer and Neant is the band's label manager. Their first offering "The great obscurantism" was released in may 2009, and is highly acclaimed by the metal scene.
