Following Peter Alexander’s touring success supporting Busted and Mcfly in his previous band Undesided, he teamed up with ex Lunar Park bassist Chris Day and drummer Sarah Dobson.
Since then the band has recorded a 4 track EP, which still sells like someone’s life depends on it, with regular reissues having to be produced to keep up with demand.
The fans never cease to amaze the band as to the lengths they go to, travelling from across the country (and abroad!) just to watch Superkicks play. Very flattering! (So please keep it up!)
2006 saw a fantastic year for Superkicks, with the gigs getting bigger and better to larger crowds, supporting bands such as Johnny Panic and Sunshine Underground. 2007 can only continue on the up for the band, promising more shows, new recordings and general all round rockin’ great fun!

LOOSE ENDS really need everyone to come show there support and get rat arsed with them as they are a guitarest down :( aww.... what an idiot to leave the best band on the planet, but dont fret they dont need him :D YAY.... they are better than ever!!!! This gig is going to be by far there most interesting, with danny only having 1 practice to learn all jackos parts can he pull it off... you will have to come see for urselfs!!! If you dont come for the fantastic music come for the almighty piss up after!!!!!!!

Finally uploaded some photos from Wallington, hope you like them. Been crazily busy but should have a few weeks of relative calm now. Hope to make it to the Electric Ballroom but may have to go to Scotland for a meeting that week. Is Ipswich expensive? If not too silly might be able to go to that one. xxx
MATT WILLIS has generously donated this Yamaha RBX774 Bass Guitar for auction in which the proceeds go to CHILDREN WITH LEUKAEMIA.
It was used in the Sleeping with the Light on Video - a top 3 hit for the band BUSTED
The photos above are genuine and taken on 26th May 2006 (except the screen cap from the video). In the video the guitar was not played live, and on the rear of it, there is still the gaffer tape, which held the dummy cable.
The Guitar is signed by Matt, it also has BUSTED and SLEEPING WITH THE LIGHT ON, written on it by Matt. It will be accompanied with an Authenticity certificate
All proceeds are going to CHARITY. There is a reserve on this item and we hope that all Matt Willis and Busted fans will give generously.
