As Christian’s in this modern world, we need to be constantly on our guard against the culture (Rom 12:2). We are to stand out and be examples for Christ. We are also to be warriors for Christ and fight against the culture. So why do we stand back and watch our culture fall to pieces? Why do we stand by and watch culture rip the Christian lifestyle to pieces? We need to “stand firm in the faith” (1 Cor 16:13) and gird ourselves with the full armor of God (Eph 6). We need to take up the Sword of the Spirit (Eph 6), which is the Word of God, and take culture head on.
Christians need to take every thought captive for Christ in every aspect of our life. We need to unite against culture - for a three-braided cord is not easily broken. If the Body of Christ is divided, the individuals can be easily singled out and destroyed. But if we stand together with Christ on our side, who can stand against us?
