About The Supernovas

The Supernovas are a young 4-piece from the Holloway Road of North London. They have been gigging around the country together since the tender age of 16, playing in many London venues including The Arts Club, The Garage, Rhythm Factory, Pleasure Unit, Nambucca, Dingwalls and The Marquee. In their time together they have played alongside Babyshambles, The Others, Infadels, Wilko Johnson, The Holloways and Larrikin Love to name but a few. They are currently unsigned, managed by Nambucca and in 2007, made it to the last 15 unsigned bands shortlisted to play the John Peel Stage at Glastonbury. They perform their own style of Mod-Punk with a sound that can be likened to ‘The Buzzcocks’ and ‘The Jam’ and last year were shortlisted to the last 4 bands in the Punk Category of the Indy Awards.
