SUPERNOVA are an Italian alternative-rock band from Milan who formed in 2005. Their style has always been very closed to the sound of the seventies British rock (this is one of the reasons why the language of their compositions is English).
The debut demo, 28, was recorded and released in 2006 with three tracks (ARTISTS, LOVE ENDLESS LOVE and ROSE COTTAGE) primarily inspired by the brit-pop genre with a ska/rock rhythm section and an overriding scratched guitar sound.

The second demo, 28 b, was released in 2007. Again three tracks (LUCY, CRYING and FIRE OF INSPIRATION) in which the band dedicated most of the time to the quality of their arrangements. In this new demo, the work sounds most aggressive though it never loses freshness and originality that always has distinguished the band.

2007
An evolution in the group’s line up in 2008 has seen the introduction of piano and synths. The birth of new compositions is a portrait of a regenerate sound that embraces a pure alternative rock/indie rock and has pushed the band to come back in the studio and record a new self-produced work named BREAKING IN (the tracks are GIULIA, THE ENJOYMENT TIME and RAINY TUESDAY).

SUPERNOVA’s creation and studio recording activities have always gone with an intense live activity characterized by a great number of gigs in clubs and in national musical contexts.
The band is deeply sure to succeed and is determined to enter in the professional world of music in order to improve, keep on experimenting and translating in music feelings and emotions.
