We played somewhere in Verona (Italy) Friday Sept. 8. Three crazy girls are touring Europe looking for new super ok bands and -guess what?-they stumbled on us.

HISTORY (English Version) ________
Super-Ok! was born in 2004 with he precise aim of completely rewriting the history of Rock’N’Roll in Garbagnate Milanese, a pleasant city in the rotten neighbours of bright Milan.
The creative core was then composed by lead guitarist GG (grown up with bread and Melvins) and Michi, playing guitar at that time (who was raised to become a Paul Weller fake version). Our heroes, totally deceived by pseudo-musicians-on-duty approaching the band, finally decided to buy with a 66cl Peroni beer Gèép, a guitar player very famous locally as the owner of all of Pavement’s and Spiritualized’s records, as well as by each and every band coming from Glasgow or the Arkansas. With three guitars and a Batterio on drums, they performed on Halloween 2004, as supporting act to Merci Miss Monroe, and they collected reviews like “Cool! Is it over?”. The setlist comprised a few tracks with an average length of 1’55’’.
Seasons came, seasons went, Super-Ok! spent their time between amletic choices and rehearse and rehearse, more and more determined and convincing. The real turning point happens to be the engagement of talented drummer Dave, who leads the band to a determining technical improvement, while Michi’s choice to switch to bass guitar allows the band to have a rhytmic section more classic but at the same time more concrete.
With this line-up Super-Ok! performed as supporting acts to punnk-rock bands Transex and Valentines in September, 2005, and after a year they burned the house down on Halloween night, with their arrogant and crooked rock’n’roll performance, with brit/punk/noisypop influences.
Nowadays, they’re growing up our keyboard player child, rehearsing, playing live and collecting money to buy the equipment they deserve. Soon on tour with Art Brut.
STORIA (Versione Italiana) ________
I Super-Ok! nascono nel 2004 con il preciso intento di riscrivere una volta per tutte la storia del Rocknroll di Garbagnate Milanese, ridente cittadina ai bordi della soleggiata Milano.
Il nucleo creativo è composto dal chitarrista GG (cresciuto a pane e Melvins) e da Michi allora chitarrista ora bassista (cresciuto per diventare una fake version di Paul Weller). I nostri eroi totalmente delusi dagli pseudo-turnisti che si avvicinano alla band decidono di acquistare all'irrisorio prezzo di una birra Peroni da 66cl il chitarrista Geppo, famosissimo a Garbagnate Milanese per avere tutti i dischi dei Pavement, degli Spiritualized e di ogni gruppo proveniente dall'Arkansas o da Glasgow. Armati di tre chitarre e con un Batterio alla batteria si esibiscono ad Halloween 2004 di supporto ai Merci Miss Monroe e raccolgono critiche del tipo bello! Ma avete già finito?. Allora la scaletta comprendeva pochi pezzi della media di un minuto e cinquantacinque.
Le mezze stagioni passano e i Super-Ok! trascorrono mesi tra amletici dubbi e prove su prove sempre più convincenti e determinate.
La svolta vera e propria arriva con l'ingaggio di Dave batterista nato, istintivo e giovanissimo che porta la band a un miglioramento decisivo e alla scelta da parte di Michi di imbracciare il basso per rendere la sezione ritmica più classica ma sicuramente più incisiva.
Con questa line-up i Super-Ok! aprono alle punk-rock band Transex e Valentines nel settembre 2005 e ad un anno dalla loro prima esibizione infiammano per la festa dei Morti la platea garbagnatese con una performance di arrogante e sbilenco rock'n'roll punteggiato dalle influenze brit/punk/noisypop.
Nel Settembre del 2006 adottano il piccolo Gos, tastierista offensivo con propensione alla presa per il culo. Di lì a poco vengono selezionati dalla tv USA Channel 101 per partecipare alla trasmissione Project My World. Venti milioni di teenager americani assistono all'esibizione live in un ristorante di Verona. Tra queste, decine di quindicenni che dichiarano amore eterno al tastierista fornicante.
Con i cospicui proventi televisivi i cinque incidono il primo E.P., "Muy Guapo Delgado", che schizza al numero uno della classifica dei singoli più venduti dalle band garbagnatesi. Intanto i live si sprecano, i nuovi pezzi si accavallano, le band si sciolgono, senza un perché. Noi invece siamo come i Bee Gees: ci odiamo ma siamo fratelli e abbiamo le basette sempre più folte.
