Somehow, I am the world's 37th ranked competitive eater. Surely, you've read or own a copy of my quasi-famous "You Know You're A College Student When..." humor book, found once in awhile on Ebay used books auctions. Somehow, I've also met numerous celebrities, historical figures, and answers to trivia question "where are they now" types.
I am one of those folks that people think will hit it rich because I'm strange enough to being a collector's item, or something like that!!
My over-riding goal is to get on "Survivor". 14 TIMES I've tried, BUT so far, NOTHING!!! I know I can win the grub-rat-worm-cow stomach eating contest, unless Kobayashi, or any other ranked eater shows up. OK, I'll settle for "Deal or No Deal", or I'm ready for "American Old Off-Key Idol".
"The Amazing Race" would be cool, too, except I'm afraid my wife and I would argue our way around the world, and who wants to be famous for being a grouch?? (no offense, Oscar)
My new passion is running. It better be my passion, because every day I miss, I start again weight back faster than I can run, or eat in a contest!! I'm always hungry now, for food...and money!!

Who I'd like to meet: I need to "add" a Beatle, and some others to my take-a-picture-with-them collection. They are, in no special order, Tom Hanks (my wife's favorite actor), Bill Gates, David Bowie, Kelly Ripa, Neil Armstrong, Amy Adams, Robert DeNiro, Nicole Kidman, Oscar Gamble, Heidi Klum, The cast from The Office, Priscilla Barnes, John Cleese, Bill Murray, Cheryl Tiegs, and Rupert (my kids favorite Survivor).

Thanks Paul! BTW, I signed up for alabama and atlanta krystals. I wasn't really sure if one can do multiple contests, but those were both on consecutive days and within driving distance of each other. So if I come out for krystals, I would be doing one or both of those. I'm assuming these would be the contests you're doing too, so hopefully we can hang out or carpool and whatnot.
