James Zabiela (Hearing Aid/Excession)
"I'm playing them all out" -
Howie B
"Yeah i like the original, the other mixes are cool, not a bad release!" -
Kieron Aquasky (Aquasky/Passenger)
"Cool release from a label that is certainly on the up. Tight production makes the whole package. Would've liked to maybe see a bit more variation on the remixes though." -
Nick Thayer (Breaking Point/Triple RRR Radio/Inpress)
About SUPERPOLITIK
Superpolitik is already making his mark on the grittier end of the scene, with his trademark raw, distorted, dance-floor style, borrowing heavily from his past as a rock/funk guitarist.
Based in Melbourne, Superpolitik (Nathan Thomas) is co-owner of digital label Trickery Collective, and although he heralds from a traditional musical background, when the millennium ticked over, he put his guitar on the shelf and reached instead for a sequencer.
In addition to creating angry floor stomping breaks, he releases down tempo / filmic grooves as Vinylminds, showcasing his diversity as a musician and producer.
With upcoming releases on Trickery Collective, Polar Red, Fresh Produce Records, along with a licensing deal with Sony Pictures and multiple remixes in the works, 2009 is looking good.
