    Créé en 2009 par le guitariste Phil Vermont(La Familia, Darjeeling, Vent d' Ouest), Superscream est un groupe à part. Il allie en effet métal progressif et world musique, un mélange unique en son genre! Tout au long de l' album, vous pourrez entendre des guitares flamenco, des rythmes latins, du rap , ainsi que des percussions mélangées à la sauce métal. Le mot d' ordre du groupe est métissage, et le mariage world music et univers métal allié à une bonne dose d' energie et une touche de virtuosité sont les composants essentielles de sa musique. Mais que les accros du style métal progressif/métal se rassurent, ils retrouveront aussi dans le répertoire des morceaux dans la pure tradition heavy. Eric Pariche( ex Darjeeling , opera de Rouen ), chanteur-mutant, est capable des timbres les plus doux aux plus écorchés vifs, des voix les plus graves aux cris les plus aigus . Parfois intimiste, souvent extraverti mais toujours rock, Eric promène ses cordes vocales au fil des 8 morceaux de l' album, secondé par de talentueux musiciens . Mixé par Flavien Dugard, l' album "Some Strange Heavy Sound " propose une musique dense et varié qui vous fera voyager au dela du métal ... Bref, vous l' aurez compris, Superscream, c'est un nouvel univers à découvrir . Born from a meeting between Phil Vermont, (professional musician for more than 10 years) and Eric Pariche (ex Darjeeling, opera of Rouen), Superscream is a unique band. It allies progressive metal and ethnic influences, a previously undiscovered fusion. Throughout the album, you can thus hear flamenco guitars, rhythms from Maghreb as well as various percussions mixed with metal. The watchword of the group is "interbreeding". The alchemy between world music and the universe of metal, allied to a good dose of energy, are the essential components of Superscream. But progressive metal / heavy metal ‘addicts can be reassured; they will also find all they can expect from an album of these styles. The group shows a real identity and it is also thanks to the mutant-singer Eric Pariche, capable of the softest to the most tormented tones, of the gravest voices to the sharpest shouts. Sometimes intimate, often extrovert but always rock, Eric takes out his vocal cords in the course of the 8 songs of the album, assisted by virtuoso musicians. The album "Some Strange Heavy Sound" proposes a dense and varied music which will make you travel beyond metal.
