The Super Secret Side Project, They have been called heroes, revolutionaries, and soldiers of the cause. The cause, the salvation of ROCK!
The Project are a coloboration of musicains and prefomance artist who strive to return Rock to the Thrown of popular music. It all started in January of 2004 when the groups founding members; Sal Vezzuso (guitars, vocals, melodeon) and Sean Von Gorman (Vocals, guitars) realized after months of knowing each other, lived only 5 blocks away from each other. Everything since then as they say, is history.
The Project live is best described as a dimond plated laser beam in a ninja powered rocketcar. The powers of Sean’s thrilling vocals and guitars, Sal’s face melting lead guitars, and oh the cheers from the fans who yern for more, (And Oh how they yern) combine to form a sound that’s is it is rich in it’s sensationalism as it is in its abundant relevanceism.
Hundreds of people of all ages have been rocked both heavily and efficiently by the band. Few who leave a Project preformeance. show leave completely unchanged by the experience.
The influences of the band are as different as the two founders themselves. Sean was raised in the old school of rock music; studying the teachings of The Who, U2, and The Rolling Stones. Sal being a fan of more modern acts such as Local H, Everclear, and Nine Inch Nails. Band they do agree on are The White Stripes, The Flaming Lips, and Green Day.
The Group is most famous for their onstage renditions of some of their many hit songs such as Super Hot Asian Chick, Little Spider, and R.P.A. (Rock Powers Activate). And also for the fact that they are awsome!
