BAND BIO:
Super Sonic Samba School is one of San Diego's oldest community durm and dance groups. Inspired by the carnaval rhythms of Brazil, we welcome any and all to learn to dance and/or drum, to develop into a performer or to just sit with us in the park. Practice is every Sunday in Balboa Park from noon - 2:30 and Wednesdays at the World Beat Center at 8pm.

Merry Christmas! This past year I visited the site of Jesus' birth in Bethlehem and the Holy City of Jerusalem, during my Israel journey. I wanted to share these images with my friends who may never have the chance to go, as we remember the Reason for the Season!
Hey thanks for the addition! My friends and I crashed the pride parade over the weekend and we just happened to be between the Samba dancers and the Starbucks float. We were dancing along with the girls all the way to the end at Balboa Park, and we were all still dancing along. Samba is fun, I think I'll take up the class!
